How do I know if I have new messages?
You can receive e-mail or pager/cell phone notification when you get a new message. Set that up through our web-based voicemail manager at myphone.aeneas.com.
There is no dial-tone indicator or indicator light associated with your phone to notify you of new messages. When you enter your mailbox, you’ll be told how many new messages you have.
How can I check my messages?
You can check your messages three ways. Through a telephone, through Aeneas’s web-based phone manager, or through an e-mail address you designate.
To check your messages on your home phone, dial *98 and follow the prompts.
To check your messages from a phone other than your home phone:
Dial one of these local access numbers and follow the prompts.
Or dial your home phone number and press * while your voicemail message is playing, then enter your password when prompted. If someone answers your home phone before the voicemail message begins to play, you won’t be able to reach your voicemail inbox. You can only reach your inbox this way if your voicemail picks up.
What is my mailbox number?
Your mailbox number is your ten-digit phone number.
What is my password?
Your default password is the last 4 digits of your phone number. You can change your password over the phone once you’ve accessed your voicemail system.
What do I do if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, you should call Aeneas at 731.554.9200. Your password can be reset to the default, however there it must be done manually by our staff.
How can I change my password?
Access your voicemail system, and when prompted to choose an option, choose Option 0 “Mailbox Options.” Under the Mailbox Options menu, you will be given the option to change your password.
How can I change my outgoing message?
Access your voicemail system, and when prompted to choose an option, choose Option 0 “Mailbox Options.” Under the Mailbox Options menu, you will be given the option to record a new outgoing message.
How long can my outgoing message be?
Your outgoing message can be up to 45 seconds.
How long will voicemail record an incoming message before it cuts off?
Voicemail will record for up to 3 minutes.
How many messages can I save?
You can have up to 15 messages in your mailbox. If someone tries to leave you a message after you’ve reached that limit, they will not be able to record a message. Instead they’ll hear a message that your mailbox is full. Remember, you will be able to save up to 15 messages, but if you fill all your available spaces with old messages, you won’t be able to receive the new ones.
How do I delete messages?
Once you’ve listened to a new message you’ll be given a list of options. You can delete or save a message at this point.
If you want to delete a saved message through your telephone, enter your mailbox. Choose Option 2 “Change Folders” and select the folder where your saved message is located. If you did not designate which folder the message should be saved to, it will automatically save to the “old messages” folder. Once you are in the correct folder, listen to your saved messages. After each message, you will be given a list of options, including the option to delete the message.
Using the web-based interface, you can view a list of all your messages, and select the ones you wish to delete using the delete button.
How can I check my messages on the web?

The web-based manager allows you to view information about your messages, like length and who they’re from as well as play your messages on the computer. How can I get messages sent to my e-mail?

Enter the e-mail address you'd like to have messages sent to. Make sure you've designated "yes" under attach message to e-mail. Now your voicemails will be sent to the e-mail you've entered. You can play the .wav file on your computer to hear your message.
Why aren’t the messages I get in my e-mail in my voicemail inbox?
Login to myphone.aeneas.com, and enter the Voicemail section of the site. Click on the “options” tab, and find the option labeled “Delete messages after notification.” If “yes” is selected, then your messages are being automatically deleted after being sent to your e-mail. I entered my pager/cell phone number, why aren’t I receiving notification of new messages?
You must enter your pager or cell phone ADDRESS to receive notification of a new message. This is not just your number. It should be entered in this format yournumber@domain.com. Each cell phone company has a different domain. Here are some of the most common:
Sprint PCS - mobilenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com
Verizon - mobilenumber@vtext.com
AT&T - mobilenumber@mobile.att.net
T-Mobile - mobilenumber@tmomail.net
Cingular - mobilenumber@mycingular.com
If you don't see your cell phone company listed, you'll need to check with them directly to find out the appropriate domain.
Your cell phone or pager MUST be enabled to receive text messages or e-mails. If you cannot receive text messages or e-mails through your cell phone or pager, you can’t receive a notification of new messages. You can still receive a notice through an e-mail address.
Will I be charged to receive pager/cell phone notification of messages?
You will not be charged by Aeneas. This feature is included with your Voicemail. However, notification of your voicemail is sent to your pager or cell phone as a text message, and normal text messaging rates apply. You will be charged the rate you would be charged for receiving any other text message. This rate is determined by your cell phone company.
