facilities-based Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC), as well as Tennessee's first and only VoIP provider. Aeneas began as an Internet Service Provider (ISP)
in 1995, and soon grew into West Tennessee's largest Internet provider. In 1999, Aeneas became a CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier) in order
to provide Tennesseans with a choice on local and long distance telephone service. Based in Jackson, TN, Aeneas currently serves a large retail base all over West TN.
